Unfortunately Joe has been ill so he had to stay in bed all day but me, Stevie and Mark went out on our 'peds and headed south from Kamala where we are staying. We drove through Patong and then went crusing around some beach side roads right next to the sea with big surf crashing in!
We stopped off at a look out point and looked back across the bay which had brillaint views...
Then we went to Paradise beach and another beach called Karran. Paradise beach was class.
On the way to Karran we got stopped by the police and fined for not having our driving licences on us - it was only 300 baht though (4 pound 50). I think this could have been a good earner for police as they were stopping everybody and most we getting fined. We had some food at Karran before heading back to the beach and messing around in the surf.
A stray Dog nicked my t-shirt whilst we were in the sea at Karran beach! It was funny! He picked it up and ran off with it for a bit before dropping it. Then he picked it up again and ran in to the sea dropped in at my feet, in the sea water! Nice! I just laughed though as the dog was cool and I liked him. Then he tried to run off with our bag whcih had all our wallets and cameras in!! We managed to distract him with a plastic bottle for a bit to get all our stuff back! Then the dog just chilled out on the beach - he was a cool dog!
After that we headed back the way we had came to Kamala. It was really cool riding along those roads on the mopeds had a great laugh! Will defo have to do that again sometime soon...
