First Couple Of Weeks In Sydney

... ok I haven't "blogged it up" for a while so this is going to be a bit of a catch up...

The first couple of weeks in Sydney were good. I took it fairly easy and mainly just hung out in Randwick and Coogee with Adam, jules, Paul, Woodsy and Emily and everyone.

I met up with my sister's friend James and did the 7 bridge walk around Sydney - 22ks in the mid day heat was pretty tough but we made it! Only took us about 4 and 3/4 hours!! Was good fun though and we got to see loads of parts of the city that we hadn't seen before.

I also got a few games of footy in down at Coogee Oval with Adam, Guy, Pip, Ray and all the boys which was a good laugh.

I did some touristy stuff too like heading down to Circular Quay to check ot the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House and I went on the ferry over to Manly for the day which was good fun.

Had a few beers out and about in the city (The Establishment is a cool bar, thats where Jay Z and Pharrell head to when they are in town!!!) and went out in Double Bay (Golden Sheaf) and Bondi (Revisi's)... All good craic!

Also went to see a guy called Bernard fanning in concert near Fox Studios. He is the lead singer with Aussie band Powderfinger but has done a solo abum which is real good and he was real good live too...

The rest of the time I just hung out at Adam's place or on Coogee beach and ate Thai food at the restaurant Tum's on belmore Road pretty much every day. That was about it for the first couple of weeks really...
