Ko Phangan

We had an absolute killer day of travelling but finally made it to Ko Phangan...

We left Railay at 9.30am on the long boat then got on a small bus to Krabbi bus station. Then got a big bus to Suratthani then we had to wait there for ages before getting on another bus to the peier - plus for some reason this bus only went about 20 miles an hour then once at the pier we had to wait ages for the ferry. After the 3 hour ferry ride we finally made it to Ko Phangan. Then we got in a car to where we were staying an later on that night was also caught a Song Tao to Hat Rin.

So that was 12 hours travelling and 5 modes of transport in one day (long boat, bus, ferry, car, song tao)!!!

Anyway made it here and met up with Stevie's brother Scott and his friends Dan, Ricky and Omar so there are 8 of us now which is really cool!

It has been 'Ron Mac' (very hot) so we have been trying to stay off the beach at the hottest parts of the day. However, we were on there yesterday playing football. We played England (plus one guy from Chili) against the rest of the World (made up of Canadians, Aussies, Sweedish and Italian). You'll be glad to know that we taught them a lesson and beat them 5-3!!! Eng-ger-laaaaand!!!

We are staying at Mountain Bar in bungalows so its real handy for the beach. There are loads of Gecko's near our bungalows like this little fella I spotted on our roof last night!

Did some washing too so have clean clothes again which is good!
