Sunset on Ko Tao

After leaving Coral Bay we caught the ferry over to Ko Tao (Turtle Island)...
Ko Tao is a major scuba diving resort and is one of the cheapest places in the world to get the PADI qualification so it is full of scuba dudes!!!
As none of us were doing our PADI course (I've already done mine!) we decided to see what else Ko Tao had to offer. Marco, Joe, Omar and I went to watch some Thai kick boxing which was class! There were 7 fights and all were really high standard. One huy got knocked clean out which was pretty brutal but good entertainment all the same!!! = )
The next day we just chilled out and explored the island.
Ko Tao is more westernised that the other islands we have been to. This is bad in some ways but good in others as I finally found somewhere I could get my haircut! All the other places I had seen on the trip so far looked really dodgy but this place was cool. It only cost 150 Baht too which is about 2 quid!
We bumped into our Irish mate Dermot that we had met on Ko Phi Phi so had a few drinks with him last night but took it fairly easy as we were leaving Ko Tao the next day and had a big day of travelling ahead of us...

Seems your having way to much of a good time! Love the stories and the pics brightens up our day in the office. Havent tried a bit of Thai Boxing yet then? To busy doing nothing I bet. Dont forgot your factor 50 and will look forward to my next installment of PT down under - although it's more PT and pals as there is 8 of you now and your still no where near Auz!

Yeah Stevie hasn't had his hair cut yet mate, he's also left his cap in Bangkok so his dodgy barnet is on display to the whole world!
You should have seen this Irish guy on Ko Tao he was convinced Stevie was Steve McDonald from Coronation Street! Just kept straing at him and laughing!!

Yeah me and Marco did get in the ring after the Thai boxing we watched for a bit of sparring. It ened up being more like WWF though!
