I went to Manly beach today - it was real nice, I love Manly beach!
Its getting pretty bloody hot here now though! It was 39 degrees today in Sydney!!!
I dont get how it was 39 degrees on the beach but the water was soooooooo cold! I just dont get it!?!? Surely the heat from the sun should warm the water up yeah? And the water is usually pretty warm here anyway. But today it was like swimming in Scotland! It was so cold it gave me head freeze when I was snorkling! The water was that cold it made my nipples hurt like mad too!
So snorkling didn't last long - decided to hang out on the beach instead! This is Shelley Beach which is one of the little coves just round from the main Manly Beach - its class and not quite as busy as the main beach!
As you can see the tan is coming on well! = )

Mate it's because its so hot outside the water feels so cold!! The two contrast each other, if its 39 degress the water will feel cold, if it was 10 degress the water would feel warmer! Thats why Lowestoft beach always has lots of people in the sea as it never gets above 20 degrees!
