Manly beach is probably my favourite beach in Sydney I think, I really like it there. The main beach is massive and has loads of beach volley ball courts, there are also lots of other small coves and inlets around here that are really cool too.
Manly is also a top surf spot, its wicked! There are always loads of surfers out there riding the waves, and its where loads of the Aussie surfing champions are from - past world champions Midget Farrelly, Barton Lynch, Tom Carroll, Damien Hardman, Pam Burridge and world female champion Layne Beachley to name a few - its good! I'm not good though, at surfing! Its pretty hard! Need more practice!
Manly itself has a really cool atmosphere - there are some wicked shops around here so its a cool place to go clothes shopping and there is a really cool vibe around all the cafes and bars. We went for some lunch and some drinks in the Wharf Jetty Bar today which was really cool! I had a really good time so think I'll have to do that again soon...
