Swazball!

Swazball!

Yesterday was a quality day!

We all got together for Woodsy's birthday and went to Centennial Park and played Cricket and had a picnic! It was class!

Cricket was a right laugh we played a full test match with 2 innings for each side! With a beach cricket set though! Neil got bowled out by Sarah in the first innings and by Jules in the second which was funny! The girls weren't cutting him any slack even if it was his birthday! Guy played a monster second innings scoring about 50 and got the winning runs for our team... Was good fun!

We had our picnic in the park and tried to stay cool as it was 39 degrees again yesterday in Sydney! I climbed a big tree too which was a good laugh!

After that we headed back to Woodsy, Paul and Emily's place and got in the pool for a game of Swazball! Its a game the lads invented a couple of weeks ago, basically, to score a goal, you have to try and throw (swaz!) the ball as hard as you can so it goes past the players at the other end of the pool. Top laugh! The game went on for quite some time but our team eventually ran out 15-8 winners.

Swazball with have to go down in history with some of the other home made games that I've helped invent or participated in throughout the years - such as:

Rockethead
Handball (so many things got broken in Stevie's house from playing that!)
Belt (not to be talked about)
Rocketwall
Fireball
Cheapshot (always had to watch out for the off the ceiling shot!)

I hope that brings back funny memories for all my mates involved in inventing and playing those games through the years!

So after Swazball we all chilled out for a bit before having another blast in the pool later on. But then it got a bit cold and so we headed in for a roast dinner!

The food at Woodsy's and Paul's is always top draw! I love going round there for tea! Had a couple of glasses of champagne to celebrate Neil's birthday before it was time to head home.

So yesterday was a top laugh! Looks like the heat wave is continuing too as its set to be 39 degrees again today!
