Chilling

Its been a pretty chilled out day today. We went to the university in Khorat and Stevie, Scott and Marco had a meeting with a Thai fella called Ta about the football coaching they are doing next year. Ta was a really cool guy and he could speak really good English so that was handy!

We are going for a meal tonight at Stevie's Dad's house and are going to watch some footy so that should be good.

We all went for a foot massage yesterday in the mall. It was cool! You sit in big lazy boy style chairs and they give you a massage. The lady doing mine was getting really stuck in and it was hurting at some points! Especially when she got this stick thing out and started poking it really hard into each of my toes! And when she was punching my calf muscles!! Stevie's lady was hurting him too so we were laughing, I guess its good for you tho so probably all worth it. At the end they give you a neck massage and a bit of a back massage, that kind of hurt too but it felt good afterwards...

Had a nice meal last night and then went to a bar where they had a band on who were really good, the guitar player was class, ripping off massive guitar solos!

So its been fairly chilled which is good...

We have invented a game called 'Rocket Wall' which is class and Mark and I have been playing it this arvo! Basically it involves throwing this sponge rocket thing I have against the wall in our room and its kind of like squash - its ace!! Its similar to the game 'Cheap Shot' that we invented at uni but not quite as dangerous and less stuff gets broken!

The roads in Thailand are mental! There are loads of Tuk Tuk's and motorbikes flying around along with massive trucks and loads and loads of cars. No one stops to let you cross the road so you kind of just have to chance it. Also, you know how in the UK you flash you lights to let someone go? Well in Thailand, if someone flashes their lights it means "You better get out of the way cos there is no way I'm stopping!!!" Its mad. Glad I'm not driving, I just jump in a Tuk Tuk and get my head out of the side to see all the action!

They also try and get about 5 people on a motorbike and there are loads of pick up trucks with people crammed in the back. Oh, there are loads of stray dogs just knocking about too. Its crazy here but I quite like it...! = )
